The G-Men upset Minnesota last week on the back (and arm, and legs) of Daniel Jones, but Philly presents a big challenge to New York’s QB… and those wanting to bet on him.
Ever the optimist, I’m going to instead focus on someone that should find success on Saturday and take a more positive approach with Saquon Barkley props.
The Giants’ star RB hasn’t had a massive workload down the stretch of the season, but going against a vaunted Eagles offense — which both the writers for our Giants-Eagles betting preview and Giants/Eagles prop picks think will shine — Barkley is going to need to be as involved as possible.
Here is my best free NFL pick for Saquon on Saturday… along with a Barkley-based same-game parlay.

The Indianapolis Colts are to face the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday in the latest Week 6 odds. The Jaguars are returning home after a two-week stint in London and now square up against a Colts side that will be missing starting quarterback Anthony Richardson.
Despite backup Gardner Minshew taking over under center, money has come in on the visitors and NFL odds for this contest have slimmed from Jaguars -5 to -4.
Should you go against or follow the line movement? I let you know with my best free NFL picks for Colts vs. Jaguars on October 15.

If the football gods do indeed wish for the Pittsburgh Steelers to get into the playoffs, you can’t say they haven’t given them a notable gift.
That’s because Saturday’s opponent, the Baltimore Ravens, have the top seed in the AFC locked up, meaning a bevy of regulars – including likely MVP odds candidate Lamar Jackson – will sit out.
It’s a big reason why the Ravens are 3.5-point home underdogs in the NFL odds.
Pittsburgh doesn’t need to win to get in, but gaining that W is the first step in positive chain reactions that could have them postseason-bound.
Join me as I break down the Steelers vs Ravens Week 18 odds with our main focus being three great player props picks you should be targeting.

It’s never dull when the Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals collide, and this marquee Week 2 matchup is shaping up to be another chippy showdown at Arrowhead.
However, Cincinnati has major questions to resolve after an ugly outing last weekend, and my Bengals vs. Chiefs predictions point to more home cooking for Patrick Mahomes & Co. Read my NFL picks below and be sure to check out our Bengals vs. Chiefs props for more.

Anyone who has spent the best part of an hour just waiting to cross a supermarket threshold in the past few weeks will be aware how quickly the outlandish becomes the new normal. Yet even in these strange days it was still odd to hear Gordon Taylor pop up on the radio with the suggestion that shortened games might be the solution to finishing the Premier League season sometime before the clocks go back.
How that would have helped maintain the integrity of the competition or assisted those clubs worried they might be relegated in less than optimum circumstances remained unclear, for the Premier League was pooh-poohing the idea proposed by the Professional Footballers’ Association’s leader as ridiculous and unfounded within hours.

It is almost 18 months since Rhys Norrington-Davies’s name was up in lights in the headmaster’s weekly newsletter at Royal Russell school in Croydon, celebrating his first call-up to the Wales senior squad. It was there that he achieved A-levels in maths, physics and geology, and was accepted into Southampton University to study civil engineering and architecture, at a time when being part of a Premier League promotion push felt rather unlikely.
“Education was my main focus and the thought of getting back into football was a bonus,” he says. “I was preparing to go to uni. Growing up I used to like structures, building sandcastles on the beaches, so I always had an interest for it.”
But then Sheffield Uni…
The great thing about hitting rock bottom, Hollywood movies are fond of pointing out, is that there is only one way left to go. But there is another option. Hollywood movies: meet Manchester United. Too big to fail properly, but somehow still managing to fail all the same.
Perhaps the most brutal part of this night of calamitous, football‑style activity from the United defence and midfield at Old Trafford was the moments of hope in between, scattered like flowers in the rain.

Amid one of their most memorable playoff runs in franchise history, the Minnesota Timberwolves have taken the NBA by storm. If a first-round sweep of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, Bradley Beal and the Phoenix Suns didn’t cement Minnesota as a legitimate contender, ousting the defending champion Denver Nuggets in Game 7 of a Western Conference semifinal series certainly did.Led by star guard Anthony Edwards, the Timberwolves punched their ticket to the conference finals for the first time since 2004, but this feel-good story has reached its final chapter.Minnesota finds itself up against the Dallas Mavericks, and it has its hands full with one of, if not the, best backcourts in the league in Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving. And there’s no chance that duo lets Dallas lose this series.Doncic an…
If Brian Flores can sue the NFL for its racist hiring practices when it comes to selecting coaches, then Gus Johnson should be allowed to sue television networks for whitewashing the NFL broadcasting booth. With preseason games and Week 1 officially in the NFL’s rearview mirror, fans have had a chance to see every lead broadcasting duo that will call games this season. ESPN has Joe Buck and Troy Aikman. Kevin Burkhardt and Greg Olsen are at FOX. Jim Nantz and Tony Romo are still at CBS. Amazon has Al Michaels and Kirk Herbstreit. And NBC has Cris Collinsworth and Mike Tirico. Not a single Black man in sight. If you’re in the know, then that last line made you chuckle. If you aren’t, you think that line is omitting Tirico. Well, despite his skin color or what he would be listed …
I don't think there's any collection of athletes more likable than the members of the The U.S. Women's National Team. Case in point: The team was in Orlando, Fla., this weekend to play an exhibition match against Brazil when their team bus broke down after a practice session. Instead of waiting around for the bus to get fixed, a few of the players caught a ride back to their hotel with some fans. The picture above was tweeted out by Hope Solo, who piled into a car with Abby Wambach, Carli Lloyd, and one assuredly ecstatic young fan. Sydney Leroux and Alex Morgan hitched a ride in a different car, but also made sure to commemorate the occasion on Twitter: We can only hope that the soccer moms driving those cars had a few extra orange slices and Rice Krispie treats to sh…
